It’s been a busy winter and I’m making steady progress on my next puzzle design (I’m on version fourteen). Once I’ve finalized the design I will post some news and pictures of the prototype.
In the mean time, this is a short post to let everyone know that a) I’ve switched domain registrars and unless there’s been a bad screwup you shouldn’t notice any changes at all; and b) I’ve added a Newsletter feature to the website (you should see it in the blue stripe at the top of this page). If you’d like to be on the newsletter just click on it.
If everything is working correctly, it should walk you through a couple of steps, ask for confirmation by email and then you should be all set. If you encounter any difficulties, please let me know with a comment.
The newsletter will only be for announcing when a new puzzle is for sale, either a remake of someone else’s (e.g., Stewart Coffin’s “Cruiser”) or a brand new one of mine. Given my (slow) rate of progress, you probably won’t get more than two or three newsletters per year.
That’s it for today!
February 9th, 2019 UPDATE:
There’s a problem with my newsletter signup procedure and many of you have not received the email asking you to confirm your subscription (which is the final step for subscribing to the newsletter). There seems to be a configuration problem with my email server or my website hosting provider (or both) and I’m trying to get to the bottom of it. The good news is that the system is not losing any sign-ups – it’s simply been unable to send out the confirmatory email. So you won’t have to go through the signup process again.
February 14th, 2019 UPDATE:
My hosting provider seems to have fixed the problem my newsletter was having with sending emails – it was an overly restrictive security program that was blocking outbound emails. I just successfully sent out a bunch of test emails so I think it’s all working correctly again. For those of you who signed up for the newsletter but never received a confirmation email, I had the system send them out again and you should be all set.
hello,
I would like to buy various Pennyhedron puzzles. thank you, Henri Tausik htausik@verizon.net
If you like Pennyhedron you might like Stuart Gee’s “De Doe Dak Ka” puzzle. I made some tweaks to his design and am selling them on my Etsy store (with Stuart’s permission of course). Here is my post about them.
And here is a link to them on my Etsy store.
